10u, 12u, 14u CAN travel tournament

We will be taking two 12u teams and two 14u teams to this event. Coaches will send out rosters by early next week. 

 

14u athletes will depart Mercer Island Park and Ride (8000 N Mercer Way, Mercer Island, WA 98040) at 1:15pm on Friday, Oct 28.

 

Team will travel to Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal in vans driven by coaches and catch 5pm ferry to Victoria. Team will stay at Accent Inns, Victoria and drive to games/scout opponents/eat meals together. Team will depart on the 3pm Ferry Sunday afternoon, aiming to be back at the MI park and Ride around 7:30-8pm Sunday night.

 

Athletes 6th grade and younger (12u and 10u athletes) are expected to travel and stay with their parents during the tournament. 

 

Athletes traveling with the team will need either 1.) a passport or 2.) photo ID along with a copy of their birth certificate to cross the border, 3.) Letter of authorization:  signed by both parents or legal guardian that includes a) the parents' address and telephone number, and b) the name, address, and telephone number of responsible adult in Canada: Coach John Jacobson, 4636 Elk Lake Drive, Victoria, BC V8Z 5M1, (206) 229-4830, 4) ArriveCan receipt to expedite team entry (optional, but requested).

All mandates for vaccines are gone to enter Canada. However, Non-US citizens that are not permanent residents of the US must show full vaccination to get back in.
